The Team
Black Tie Events does events all over the country! Currently, the Nevada Team handles events in NV, CA, Southern UT, and Northern AZ and the New Jersey Team handles events in the tri-state area (NY, NJ, and CT). We are looking to open up Regional offices in other parts of the country in 2008.
The Nevada Team
Lee Filipe has been a corporate event planner since the early '80s. She's been producing expos and tradeshows in Las Vegas even before she decided to call Las Vegas 'home'. In 1998, when she did move to Las Vegas, she began her bridal consulting career by joining Happily Ever After as Vice President of Marketing.
Black Tie Events was created to meet the needs of the various events that are held in Las Vegas. Lee, now President/CEO, specializes in fundraising events for nonprofit organizations and offers her consulting services to membership based and nonprofit organizations.
The New Jersey Team
Joyce Tanksley was the Founder of Happily Ever After in Las Vegas. She relocated to New Jersey in 2000 from where she now manages the business. Ms. Tanksley’s expertise is in wedding planning, coordination of hotel and casino operations, and in entertainment industry events.
Centrally located to all convention, banquet, and hotel properties in Southern Nevada and Central New Jersey, Black Tie Events is made up of a professional and experienced staff that can support each client’s needs with little or no delay in undertanding their clients goals.
